The powerful techniques of Hypnosis, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and Matrix Therapies, can see you overcoming the fear of public speaking once and for all.

Glossophobia or more commonly known as Stage Fright, is an intense fear or phobia of speaking in public and can sometimes be linked to other issues such as social phobia, social anxiety disorder or an intense fear of rejection. This fear can cause a deep anxiety, even at the thought of having to present in front of an audience. This can lead to physical distress, nausea, or panic attacks.

The most common approach to dealing with being afraid of public speaking is avoidance. If that’s possible without having a negative affect on your life that’s great. However, sometimes it is unavoidable. You may have to give a presentation at work, a speech at a wedding or deliver a eulogy at a funeral. For others this fear of public speaking may be holding you back from sharing your knowledge with the world. Or even from achieving your dreams and goals in life.

The fear can be overwhelming and can appear to have no cure in sight. Thankfully, you have found the solution right here.

There are many possible causes for the fear of public speaking. It can stem from being self-conscious, or a concern that you are being judged by others or maybe from a fear of failure. Like so many fears and phobias it may also have it’s roots in a childhood event where you may have had to speak in front of class at school and were made fun of. Quite often a person isn’t even aware of how or where the fear began, they just want it gone.

Getting rid of the fear of public speaking can be done in a number of ways. One would be to practice, practice, practice. Look up a local public speaking social group in your area and join up. Over time this will desensitise you to the process and lessen the anxiety. If that doesn’t work, or the fear is too great to even attempt such a thing, there are a number of cognitive behaviour therapies that can help, some that you can perform yourself. The key is in changing your perspective of public speaking by changing your thought patterns.

Using the powerful techniques of Hypnosis and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), I will help you to let go of this fear once and for all. You can choose to either use the powerful online phobia bust program I have created or book a personal session with me by calling me direct or using the form below.

  1. Become aware of your thoughts and feelings around public speaking. Go beyond your initial reaction. Try and feel the feelings behind the feelings and the thoughts behind the thoughts. This can take a bit of practice but the more you do it, the better and quicker you will become. Simply interrupt your thought and ask yourself the question “What is the purpose of this feeling or thought?”
  2. Be grateful for the thought or feeling. This may seem counterintuitive at first, however our minds are powerful and often temperamental creatures. Everything your mind does, it does to serve you in the best way it can based on the beliefs it has. The reason you have this fear, is because somewhere deep in your unconscious mind, it believes that it is protecting you from something by making you avoid public speaking at all cost. By thanking and being grateful toward the thought and feeling, you are acknowledging this and thanking your mind for the great job it has done with the information it had.
  3. Let the thought or feeling go. There are many techniques to do this and a quick Google search will find heaps. The technique I have had most success with is to simply visualise the thought or feeling by giving it a symbolic visual representation. Then filling it with love and light until it is totally healed. Lastly cutting the cord that connects it to you and watching it drift away until it is no longer visible.
  4. Replace the thought or feeling with a new positive and resourceful one. Simply have the thought you would like to have instead of the thought you once had.
  5. Repeat every time you feel the original thoughts or feelings happening. The more you do this the better you will get at it and it is a simple way to change any thought pattern about anything you wish. Within a few months you will notice a huge difference in the way you think and feel about public speaking.
